#2 mAKe IT persOnAL

When asking for donations, make sure you share your enthusiasm and love for animals with your nearest and dearest.

Think about the best way to ask for support. Is it by email, phone call, text, social media or face-to-face? Perhaps a combination of them all?

#3 SPreAD THE WOrD & THen repeAT

Keep your friends and family in the loop by sharing a link to your personal fundraising page. Your dashboard even allows your to send pre-written emails and be sure to use #RSPCARescueRun in any social posts too.

Then repeat! Even people with the best intentions can forget. It’s okay to gently remind people to donate.

People feel more comfortable when they have a guide on how much to donate. It’s a great idea to let them know how much you are hoping to raise. Just $55 can help pay for the transport of multiple animals to other shelters to increase their chance of adoption!
